My Spend is a personal finance and expense management application designed to help users record, organize, monitor, import, export, and manage their personal financial information.
The application may provide features including expense and income tracking, transfers, bank and cash accounts, credit cards, EMI tracking, Udhar/Payee management, reports, statement import/export, SMS-based transaction detection, local backup and restore, Google Drive backup and restore, and application security features.
By installing or using My Spend, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the application.
My Spend is a personal financial record-keeping and management tool.
My Spend does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, banking, credit, or other professional advice.
Information, calculations, reports, charts, EMI calculations, credit-card calculations, and other outputs provided by the application are intended for personal record-keeping and informational purposes.
You should independently verify important financial information with your bank, credit-card issuer, lender, tax professional, financial adviser, or other appropriate professional before making financial decisions.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information that you enter, import, edit, or maintain in My Spend.
You are also responsible for reviewing automatically detected or imported transactions before relying on them for personal financial records.
You should regularly verify important balances, transactions, account information, credit-card information, EMI information, and other financial records against the original records provided by your bank, card issuer, lender, or other financial institution.
My Spend may provide an optional SMS Auto Fetch feature that detects financial transactions from supported bank and credit-card SMS messages.
Automatic transaction detection may not always correctly identify every transaction, amount, account, category, merchant, or transaction type.
SMS formats may change without notice, and transactions may be missed, duplicated, incorrectly categorized, or otherwise processed incorrectly.
You are responsible for reviewing automatically created transactions and correcting them when necessary.
My Spend may allow you to maintain records relating to bank accounts, cash accounts, and credit cards.
Credit limits, available limits, bill dates, due dates, anniversary spending, payments, refunds, and other values shown by the application are based on information available within the application and may not always represent the current information maintained by your bank or card issuer.
Always verify important credit-card information against your card issuer's official statement or service.
My Spend may provide EMI calculations, including reducing-balance interest calculations, tenure calculations, processing fees, GST calculations, and related estimates.
These calculations are provided for personal record-keeping and estimation purposes.
Actual EMI amounts, interest, GST, processing fees, outstanding amounts, and lender charges may differ from calculations displayed by My Spend.
The lender's official agreement, statement, or calculation shall be used to determine the actual amount payable.
My Spend may provide an Udhar section for recording amounts that you give to or receive from other persons.
Udhar balances, due dates, running balances, and other information are records maintained by the application based on transactions entered or imported by you.
My Spend does not act as a debt collection service, payment intermediary, lender, guarantor, or financial institution.
You are responsible for verifying Udhar records and resolving any disputes with the relevant person.
My Spend may allow users to import financial statements from supported formats, including PDF, CSV, TXT, and Excel/XLSX-related files.
Statement extraction and parsing may not always be completely accurate because financial institutions use different statement formats.
You must review imported transactions before relying on them.
My Spend is not responsible for errors caused by incorrectly formatted, encrypted, damaged, incomplete, unsupported, or changed statement files.
My Spend may provide export functionality in formats such as PDF, XLSX, and CSV.
Exported information is generated from the records currently maintained by the application.
You are responsible for checking exported files for accuracy before using them for financial, accounting, tax, legal, or other purposes.
My Spend may provide local encrypted backup and restore and optional Google Drive backup and restore.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backup copies of important information.
Backup and restore may fail because of device storage limitations, Android restrictions, damaged files, insufficient permissions, encryption credentials, network problems, Google Drive problems, API availability, or other technical conditions.
You should not rely exclusively on a single backup copy for important financial information.
If you use Google Drive backup or restore, the feature depends on Google services, internet connectivity, authentication, and applicable Google service availability.
My Spend cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of Google Drive, Google Sign-In, or related Google services.
Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.
My Spend may provide PIN and biometric application-lock features.
You are responsible for keeping your PIN and device credentials secure and for preventing unauthorized access to your device.
If you intentionally or unintentionally share your PIN, device, backup password, or authentication access with another person, that person may be able to access information stored in the application.
You retain responsibility for the financial information, personal information, files, transactions, descriptions, payee records, and other content that you enter or import into My Spend.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights or permission to enter or process information belonging to another person, including contact and Payee information.
You agree not to use My Spend:
Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed from My Spend from time to time.
Some features may depend on Android, Google, device manufacturers, third-party services, APIs, network connectivity, or other external services.
My Spend does not guarantee that every feature will be available on every device, Android version, or configuration.
My Spend is provided as a personal financial management tool.
Although reasonable efforts may be made to provide useful calculations and transaction processing, My Spend does not guarantee that all information, calculations, imported transactions, automatically detected transactions, balances, reports, or exports will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Spend and its developer shall not be responsible for losses resulting from:
Your use of My Spend is also governed by the My Spend Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be accessed, stored, processed, and protected.
Please review the Privacy Policy before using the application.
My Spend, including its application design, interface, branding, software, graphics, text, and other original materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit the application's proprietary materials.
You may stop using My Spend at any time by uninstalling the application or otherwise ceasing to use it.
Where technically or legally necessary, access to particular services or features may be suspended or discontinued.
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the application, features, services, or applicable requirements.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of My Spend after updated Terms are published means that you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory legal rights.
